TEAM GOLIATH STUMBLES AGAIN!

Millions of people throughout the social and local media have learned that the City of Atlanta refused to accept a $100,000.00 check in partial payment of an outstanding water bill at a facility for homeless people. A few days later the $582,383.53 bill was paid in full by the Metro Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless, Inc. averting the water being shut off. The City’s devious plan was apparently foolproof and certainly extensive. Refusing the $100,000.00 proved TEAM GOLIATH did not want the money. They wanted those redundant people out of that building and away from downtown Atlanta. By law a water bill paid in full must be received. TEAM GOLIATH had no choice but to take the money. One of the City’s more disgruntled attorneys muttered something like they were so glad the Task Force was able to pay the bill. In truth, paying the bill is the last thing that person wanted. She and her coterie wanted the water turned off.

Had the City shut off the water at the Peachtree-Pine facility, her officials would have called Fulton County officials. And of course, for health reasons the County health folks for the good health of the people would remove them from UNHEALTHY Peachtree Pine. Those Atlanta citizens numbering children, their mothers and 400 men have nowhere to go; nevertheless, go they will if TEAM GOLIATH has a say.

The City of Atlanta through the auspices of United Way of Atlanta employed a fortnight or so ago a Crisis Team to come from New Orleans to Atlanta for the purpose of “TRANSITIONING” ALL the people out of and away from the Peachtree Pine Community. People were actually paid by United Way dollars and/or Atlanta tax payer dollars to come to Atlanta to be ready for the shutting off of the water. The Crisis Team was in the City for an undesignated period of time. They returned home the day after the half-million-dollar payment was made. City “officials” scheduled a meeting for Monday, September 29, 2014, away from City Hall, set for 1 pm with Task Force staff. The purpose of that meeting was to plan the placing of the 100 women with their children. That 1 pm meeting was cancelled by City Hall.

The need to “transition” women and children suddenly disappears as far as the United Way TEAM GOLIATH movers and shakers are concerned. TEAM GOLIATH stumbles regularly. More often than not, however, the monster, like all evil, rises soon to create more angst. Atlanta has a marvelous opportunity to be a City, a Jeremiah’s City, an Isaiah’s city, that City on a hill that spreads light, joy and hope.

Please pray that LEADERSHIP, real leadership that focuses on suffering men, women and children will come miraculously our way. And on the way to that utopia could we have some potholes filled and person-hole covers leveled. Where is the Great Shirley Franklin’s Pothole Posse when we need it. We have a $100,000,000.00 Streetcar Named Disaster and a thousand streets whose surfaces are an embarrassment. Isaiah 60:17b speaks of a rotten Jerusalem whose governors would be righteousness and whose rulers would be justice. Atlanta, no less guilty than a fallen Jerusalem, can change direction. Mark it well that it does not have to be this way. There exist two possibilities for relief for Atlanta: one, that the present regime do a moral about-face: or, two, that the present regime be extracted from below and beyond its deepest abscess. I fear that the latter has a greater chance of coming to pass than the former.

Exhibit 17 Craig Jones to AJ Robinson: “You really got Manny lathered up. We really need to see what Emory is willing to do.”

Exhibit 17, Tab 17, is one of 28 exhibits filed as evidence in Judge Craig Schwall’s Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, on July 11, 2014. The lawsuit pits the Metro Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless, Inc. against Premium Funding Solutions, Inc. (Manny “Micah 2:1-2” Fialkow), Central Atlanta Progress and Atlanta Downtown Improvement District. The three defendants are charged among other things with racketeering, tortious interference, defamation, bribery and fraudulently seizing property. Emory University and Emory Health Care face the same and other charges in the Superior Court of Dekalb County, Georgia. In this brief Exhibit 17, Craig Jones of Cousins Properties exudes glee over the pliancy of the usually constipated Manny “Micah 2:1-2” Fialkow. Craig Jones’ ejaculation is sent by e-mail to Manny’s familiar, A. J. Robinson, president of Central Atlanta Progress. The “Boss” as Richard Orr likes to call him, responds to the Cousins Properties’ man showing what he knows of the sometimes pliable, sometimes not, Emanuel “ Micah 2:1-2” Fialkow. Note: The power players exposed in this Exhibit 16 beg a jury’s scrutiny. Coming late to this lynching party is the fop, Emanuel “Micah 2:1-2” Fialkow. He warns that he is “informal.” A half dozen far more accurate words come to mind to describe Fialkow’s “business deals.” And the Nuns preferred to do the dirty with him rather than with Central Atlanta Progress. Fialkow comes to the lynching party alongside his equally genteel codefendant, AJ Robinson, who perfectly represents downtown corporate Atlanta.  It’s too bad that the Chamber of Commerce’s Sammy Williams is not present to complete the triumvirate of terror.

These minds bring in Micah 2:1-2 to better the city. At the table with Manny “Micah 2:1-2″ Fialkow and CAP’s Boss Robinson are the Troutman Sanders lawyers. And joining these community giants are representatives from Cousins Properties, Inc. The name Cousins means solid support and real help for the least of these. And best of all, the Cousins man and CAP Boss will “meet with Emory in the morning” and bring “intelligence” from that gathering to this cabal nestled on the 52nd floor.

And we must not forget the reason for this meeting—the Nuns. When Manny (Micah 2:1-2) Fialkow buys the notes from the Nun-run Mercy Housing, Inc., Atlanta will be heavily indebted to these brides of Jesus. Horace Sibley told Goody Gerety that when Mercy Housing helps accomplish this chicanery, all Atlanta will be in Mercy’s debt. These brides of Jesus can pass the hat immediately.  And pass the hat they did.  They passed it so well that the financially troubled St. Joseph’s Hospital was purchased by none other than Emory Health Care, Inc. Tell Russ Hardin of the Woodruff Foundation that Emory has SOME money. The sign at the Hospital now reads EMORY St. Joseph’s.

Exhibit 15 Manny Fialkow” “Offering the alternatives is the likely best way to avoid or counter a lawsuit.”

Baker Doneson Attorneys Steve Hall and Bob Brazier filed the following Exhibit 15 Tab 15 in Judge Craig Schwall’s Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, on July 11, 2014. Baker Donelson entitled this Exhibit 15, “Robinson-Fialkow email.” Judge Schwall responded with his ruling with the following order. He made the way clear for Manny Fialkow’s Premium Finance Solutions, Inc, to move toward dispossessory of the Peachtree-Pine Property. Also, Judge Schwall AFFIRMED Special Master Frank Strickland’s Order which stated that Defendants Manny Fialkow, Central Atlanta Progress and Atlanta Downtown Improvement District face 8 claims of wrongdoing worthy to be heard before a jury. ATLANTA JOURNAL CONSTITUTION Reporter Rhonda Cook reported on the ruling in a front page article and did not mention the 8 claims that the defendants must face. Cook is notorious for one-sided and flawed reporting. Her research methodology is suspect. If she read the Special Master’s report, a reader could never tell it. Remember, for years Rhonda Cook has served as Debi Starnes’ and AJ Robinson’s newsletter propagandist. Cook’s willingness years ago to comply with CAP’s cause prompted Richard Orr to squeal to the Boss, “We’re in!”

This Exhibit 15 features Manny Fialkow and AJ Robinson. The conspiracy was so widespread at this point in May 2009 that Manny Fialkow writes to fellow conspirator, AJ Robinson, “Offering the alternatives is the best way to avoid or counter a lawsuit.” Rest assured Emanuel “Micah 2:1-2” Fialkow is familiar with facing lawsuits. Both the emails in this Exhibit 15 were written on May 17, 2009. I quote them verbatim.

Note: Imagine Manny Fialkow offering to call an associate, Michael Weinstock, former campaign manager of a judge for the purpose of influencing a judge. Can that happen? Are judges called? Is it ethical to pressure a judge? I thought judges were pressured ONLY to interpret and KEEP the law? Is Manny Fialkow close to the justice that we all cherish? And the same person who can influence is concerned about being taken to court in a lawsuit? Me thinks thou protests too much! And what about “the judge who turned Anita’s water back on”? Is anyone safe in a world where the Manny Fialkows influence judges and the AJ Robinsons write that saints who give their lives serving the poor are “all about power and control.”

Let me think. Where have I heard Anita Beaty described as a person who is “all about power and control”? Power and control? Power and control! Let me see. Were those very words stated in the…? No way! They couldn’t have been spoken there!

Exhibit 2, Tab 2 “How can we shine a light on them?”

 

Whenever Atlanta Housing Authority wants to dig up a legitimate reason to kick out a family, the expression “shine a light on them” is understood by all.  It always implies, “Get rid of those undesirables.”  A. J. Robinson pops up interminably in these 28 exhibits; the CAP president is an evidence-making machine.  Someone cries “DISCOVERY” and the Boss answers, “Here am I, Lord, send me.”  Robinson also wants to shine a light on “these nuts.”  This Exhibit 2, Tab 2 is a continuation of the thinking revealed in Exhibit 1, Tab 1.  CAP’s thinking excludes homeless people, poor people, the wrong people in downtown space that CAP is there to cleanse.  In Exhibit 1, Tab 1 “…it will give these nuts a forum” a Georgia State professor in 2003 had invited CAP to participate in a panel discussion.  The e-mail sent by Dr. Chuck Steffen lists those invited and an additional person suggested by United Way’s Terri Smith.  The names in front of Robinson when he came up with his “these nuts” comment are the following: Colin Campbell of the ATLANTA JOURNAL CONSTITUTION, Mark O’Connell of Atlanta United Way, Rev. Timothy McDonald of Concerned Black Clergy, Senator Vincent Fort and Anita Beaty of the Task Force for the Homeless.  Which of these persons get Robinson’s label, “these nuts”?  I don’t believe Colin Campbell is one of “these nuts.”  Campbell in 2005 was a silk stocking elitist as qualified to discuss homelessness as is a jack rabbit to teach Sunday School.  And Mark O’Connel of United Way experiences apoplexy at the thought of a homeless family seeking help in the antiseptic halls of Atlanta United Way.  I’ll bet five smooth stones and a shock of Goliath’s hair that Robinson’s “these nuts” did not refer to the pristine Colin Campbell or the privileged Mark O’Connell.  Remember “these Nuts” was penned first in 2003.  Mark O’Connel some years later left United Way with a million dollar bonus tucked away in his morning coat.

In our list of invitees only the dregs are left: “that woman” Anita Beaty, a Concerned Black Clergy preacher named Timothy McDonald and State Senator Vincent Fort, a constant thorn in the side of the good ole white boy cabal nestled in the downtown establishment.  Years after 2003 CAP spent tax payers’ money trying to defeat Senator Fort.  He won by the usual 70%. “Senator Vincent Fort “By A Landslide – – Sorry CAP” posted Augtust 7, 2010 tells that story.  So at least we know the identity of “these nuts.”  Don’t forget to throw in the distinguished Professor Steffen.  I’m sure Boss Robinson includes him.

Exhibit 2, Tab 2 contains an e-mail chain that begins with Doug Alexander to Paul Kelman to A. J. Robinson to Dave Wardell.  Doug Alexander at the writing of these e-mails is with GDOT, Office of Intermodal Programs.  He is not at CAP but surely he is one of them.  While on Atlanta City Council, he displayed endlessly the Atlanta City Council mindset, a clear voice against the voiceless.  Alexander is comfortable in the corner and in the confines of CAP.  He’s not a CAP light in 2005, but rest assured he’s one of them.  Alexander’s e-mail contains scary letters and words like GDOT Office of Intermodal Programs.  If that doesn’t chill the soul try, Georgia Rail Passenger Authority.  His e-mail is sent to Paul Kelman, a Gordon Liddy lookalike but not as kind.  Everyone needs to know Paul Kelman.  One of his quotes in the AJC captures best the heart of Central Atlanta Progress.  It is a reflection of the tone of its leadership in any decade of its running downtown Atlanta.  Kelman said he would rather see a toxic waste dump in Downtown Atlanta than to see a facility there that serves homeless people with AIDS.  Anytime anyone cares to check the heartbeat of CAP, go to Kelman’s words.   Look at “What’s In A Middle Name?” posted April 19, 2011.

Doug Alexander’s e-mail to Paul “toxic waste dump” Kelman is short, “Paul, here is a follow up that I just received.  Isn’t demigodary (sic) wonderful.”  Not knowing what Alexander is thinking, I have no way of making sense of his creation “demigodary.”  As a member of City Council he frequently made up things.

Paul Kelman forwards Alexander’s “follow up” with a ten-word attempt to write a sentence, “They took our e-mail and recast in their terms.”  Then A. J. Robinson sends the following to Paul Kelman and David Wardell, “All those organizations are fringe establishments that have caused trouble for everyone for years…how can we shine a light on them…can someone do a little research, don’t believe anyone likes or gets along with them, particularly the established homeless community organizations….”  David Wardell is the last link in this e-mail chain.  On 7/15/2005 at 3:41 p. m. he writes to Boss Robinson and to Paul Kelman, “I will meet with Phil Bray (Safe House) and others today for their support.”

In Exhibit 1, Tab 1 we see the need for CAP to avoid any contact with “these nuts” as far back as 2003.  In Exhibit 2, Tab 2 Boss Robinson asks for research and then how can we shine a light on them.  Remember Atlanta Housing Authority shines a light on them.  These communications show CAP’s reaching its tentacles out to the Georgia Rail Passenger Authority.  Watch for Exhibit 3, Tab 3 which shows that the Central Atlanta Progress’s bedfellows include the Atlanta Chamber Of Commerce, especially its leader, Sam Williams.  That’s the Sam Williams recently splattered all over the news as being connected to the SACS cheating scandal in Atlanta Public Schools.  What’s in a middle name: Sam “get those scores up” Williams.

Is The Handwriting On The Wall?

Daniel and his three Jewish buddies, Shadrach, Meshech and Abednego are vegetarians and do not eat King Nebuchadnezzar’s cheeseburgers or French fries. The four are captives taken from Jerusalem when the Babylonians burned the Temple, leveled the palace and carried 10,000 Jerusalemites off to captivity in 587 b. c. e. Nebuchadnezzar is a butcher and a self-proclaimed doer of all good. Any wonder he had bad dreams. He called in all his wise men, downtown geniuses, soothsayers, priests and anybody he could find who might interpret a particular dream. Because Daniel and his three buddies were brighter and stronger than the Babylonians around them, King Nebuchadnezzar placed the four men in his service. Because Daniel tells the king his dream and the dream’s meaning, he is well known in the kingdom as an interpreter of dreams and strange events.

Chapter 5 of the Book of Daniel in the Hebrew Bible, (Jewish theologian Marc Ellis correctly calls it The Older Testament,) relates this story of King Belshazzar and how the fingers of a man’s hand write words on the wall. If you enjoy a chilling story, read on. If you are a practicing member of the TEAM GOLIATH conspiracy, you might not want to read any more. If you love justice and pray that somehow, somewhere, someday it may prevail, read the fifth chapter of Daniel. Babylonian King Belshazzar is Nebuchadnezzar’s grandson, not his son as Daniel reports. Chapter 5 describes how Belshazzar gave a great banquet for a thousand of his nobles and drank wine with them.

Belshazzar’s party brings to mind Herod’s Antipas’s party where John the Baptist’s head is brought in on a platter at the request of Salome. My blog entitled “The HAG Delivers Again” features a similar Shirley Franklin party where Debi Starnes is urged by the Mayor of the golden tresses to bring in the head of the troubling, Anita Beaty, the truth-teller who refuses to obey the empire. This is a Swiftian modest proposal. It’s called satire and not history as some moron at Franklin’s City Hall implied. That is a blog I posted on 13 April 2009, entitled, “The Hag Delivers Again.”

Daniel 5:8 reads, “Then all the king’s wise men came in, but they could not read the writing or tell the king what it meant. So King Belshazzar became even more terrified and his face grew pale. Robinson’s word, “mystified.” He used that with a reporter from the ATLANTA JOURNAL CONSTITUTION in responding to Debi Starnes’ invention years ago that a “lice-infestation” was occurring at the Peachtree-Pine Community. At Belshazzar’s party the nobles are baffled. At Central Atlanta Progress the noble A. J. Robinson is “mystified” by the report. Those of us who follow Starnes’ yarns were not able to “interpret” Robinson’s word: “mystified.” Was good A. J. confused by the Homeless Czar’s lie or by the possibility of a lice infestation. Whichever, Fulton County Health Department set straight the record by refuting Starnes’ fabrication saying to the press that there was no infestation of lice present or past at The Pine.
Belshazzar read the handwriting on the wall, “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN. Daniel came and interpreted,” verses 26-28 of Chapter 5: “God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end. You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians. Daniel 5:30 closes the book on King Belshazzar and his particular chapter of the empire, “That very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians, was slain, and Darius the Mede took over the kingdom, at the age of sixty-two.”

Suddenly the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. The king watched the hand as it wrote. His face turned pale and he was so frightened that his knees knocked together and his legs gave way.

Is the handwriting on the wall? Will a jury of their peers hear evidence that exposes Central Atlanta Progress, (CAP); Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, (ADID) and Manny Fialkow’s Premium Funding Solutions of TORTIOUS INTERFERENCE and the RICO Act RACKETEERING against a HOMELESS shelter? Will the trial set for November 4, 2013 really take place? Will the lampstand in the royal courtroom reveal the conspiracy? Is the handwriting on the wall? Could power brokers and movers and shakers who have dodged being deposed for two years have to face a jury of their peers? Is the handwriting on the wall?

Will thousands of documents sent back and forth between the City of Atlanta and all the accused bubble to the surface of this cesspool? Is the handwriting on the wall? The principalities almost always win; however, empires crumble, always. Your good ole boy system in Atlanta runs deep and wide. But on rare, very rare occasions, justice prevails even in Atlanta. We still have two boxes, the jury box and the ballot box. Somehow, just somehow perhaps, justice will prevail. Oh, Lord, what a morning when the stars begin to fall.

My friends, some of my neighbors and several of my relatives chide me gently for my speaking of “God’s burning rain,” Atlanta as “Sin-City,” “when the stars begin to fall,” and now Daniel’s “handwriting on the wall.” I know that the City of Atlanta has the protection of a federal judge in a ruling called sovereign immunity. Of course the City as a tool of TEAM GOLIATH carries the club’s water. The Club’s water carrier has to be protected too.

Everyone knows you can’t sue the king even when he murders two of his wives. And if every judge in the EMPIRE renders the principalities and powers “IMMUNE,” there is still a higher court. There’s Jim Lee Scott’s and Dr. King’s arc of the universe. The hundreds of women and children homeless and helpless on the streets of Atlanta INDICT City Hall, City Council, the Innovation $3.3M Delivery Team, The United Way, The Gateway, The Gateway Board of Directors boasting such luminaries as Jack Hardin and Little Miss Debi. Is the handwriting writing on the wall?

Emory University and Emory Health Care, Inc. face a similar lawsuit in the Superior Court of DeKalb County. The charges they face are basically the same as those of the downtown conspirators. Emory is by far the largest member of TEAM GOLIATH. How could snow-white Emory be involved with disappearing a shelter near downtown Atlanta? Emory Hospital is located almost directly across the street from The Pine on Peachtree Street. Many of the uppity ups in the Emory hierarchy break out in hives at the thought of Peachtree Pine being located so near. Its food court is off limits to any of the residents of the Peachtree-Pine Community. And closely following Emory’s hatred of Black men surfaces its love for a 96,000 square foot property facing on hallowed Peachtree Street. Is the writing on the wall? The connections between Emory and the nun-run Mercy Housing, Inc. and Central Atlanta Progress and Manny Fialkow and the SOVEREIGNLY IMMUNE City and Emory University and Emory Health Care, Inc. are a matter of record. Is the handwriting on the wall?

The King James 1611 translates the chilling words, “You are weighed in the balances and found wanting.” The NIV reads, “You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.” The scales of JUSTICE never balance for conspirators such as TEAM GOLIATH. Is the handwriting on the wall? The most recent atrocity of TEAM GOLIATH flooding the streets downtown with homeless women and children is beyond description. Emory Health Care stands accused by innocent little children who don’t know where they will spend their next hour. The Gateway Board of Directors closed its doors to ready itself for the men at The Pine when Manny Fialkow and our judicial system finish the job of stealing the building. (See my piece, (“Naboth’s Peachtree Pine” posted October 26, 2011) The nuns of Mercy Housing, Inc., a huge arm of the conspiracy, have joined hands with Horace Sibley and Manny Fialkow to force Peachtree Pine into foreclosure. One nun wrote (I have the e-mail) that the City of Atlanta will be in Mercy Housing’s debt for helping to put them in foreclosure. Imagine the NUNS of mercy and MANNY FIALKOW as bedfellows. Is the handwriting on the wall? Oh, Lord, what a morning!

Update: Women And Chilrden Crisis In Downtown Atlanta

Since mid July homeless women and their children have been turned away from The Gateway facility in downtown Atlanta, Georgia.  In public and in “secret” meetings Dr. Vince Smith, director of The Gateway , is said to have reported that The Gateway facility by order of its board of directors will become a homeless facility for men.  What is the thinking?  What is the rush to empty The Gateway?   

 

 Reliable sources say that The Gateway is gearing up to take the 400 men now residing at Peachtree- Pine.  This will happen, ostensibly, when the twelve-year old conspiracy succeeds in taking the building and “throwing them out.”  According to A. J. Robinson of CAP that’s Manny Fialkow’s job.  Robinson wrote that in an email to administrators at Emory University/Emory HEALTH Care, Inc.

 

 Do these Gateway experts not know that the trial against Central Atlanta Progress, Atlanta Downtown Improvement District and Emanuel “God with us” Fialkow is set for November 4, 2013 in Fulton County? (The Emory conspirators are being sued in the State Court of Dekalb County.)  I heard Vince Smith say that the Peachtree-Pine facility “could possibly be closed down within a fortnight.”  He uttered that monumental miscalculation at a HAG meeting at North Avenue Presbyterian Church two years ago.  Today’s date is September 5, 2013. The ten men from Peachtree-Pine who heard Dr. Smith’s “prediction” have given him the middle name “fortnight.”  We lovingly refer to him as Vinny “fortnight” Smith.”

 

The TEAM GOLIATH Conspiracy has busied itself “closing down” Peachtree Pine since it opened in November of 1996.  The year is 2013 and November is 60 days away.  That makes 17 years.  Closed down?  Not close!  All public and almost all substantial private money has been stopped since 2010.  Donations totaling millions of dollars have been stopped by TEAM GOLIATH interference, TORTIOUS INTERFERENCE.  Horace Sibley as the chair of The Atlanta Commission to End Homelessness visited some of the members of St. Philip Episcopal Cathedral and the $30,000 annual contribution from that long-time donor stopped.  That “Commission” was one of Mayor Shirley Franklin’s creations.  That trophy sits alongside her Pothole Posse.

 

 Incidents of TORTIOUS INTERFERENCE are legion.  TORTIOUS INTERFERENCE is against the law.  Laws have been broken for years by members of the TEAM GOLIATH Conspiracy.  And the tightly knit cabal that has operated for years commits RACKETEERING, and that qualifies these law breakers to be scrutinized under the RICO Act.

 

Of all its egregious atrocities committed by TEAM GOLIATH conspirators against homeless people, the present crisis abusing homeless women and their children best defines Atlanta’s corrupt leadership.  We live in a city that received $3.3 million from Bloomberg’s coffers, ostensibly to assist homeless citizens.  Where did that money go?  Are the salaries of Mayor Reed’s blue plate Lexus Nexus Divas paid with that money?  The City’s latest monster is misnamed The Homelessness Innovation Delivery Team (or something like that).  What does it deliver?  When does it deliver?  To whom does it deliver?  Does the nine-month pregnant woman dismissed from Emory Hospital and told to come back in a week get delivered by Bloomberg’s $3.3 million?  The second “use” for that Bloomberg money in Atlanta after creating “better customer service for businesses” is to decrease the number of homeless persons on the streets.

 

The Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless staff and volunteers during the past three days, September 2, 3 and 4 has delivered in a rented van 73 women and children to the Salvation Army and The City of Refuge.  These facilities are now packed with Atlanta citizens who have no place to go or to be.  This morning, September 5, 2013, 5 mothers and 10 children are in the waiting room of the Metro Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless.  There is literally no place for these 15 people to go.  Where is Atlanta United Way?  Where are the nuns of mercy?  Where is the board of directors of the model shelter, The Gateway?  I understand that Horace Sibley and Debi Starnes are still leaders on that board.  So is the powerful Jack Hardin.  How do these doers of all good explain the train wreck they oversee? 

 

As I write this piece, several people representing Mayor Reed’s  Homeless Innovation Delivery Team is meeting for breakfast with Task Force staff and one Task Force board member.  Yesterday, a female Episcopal priest came to Peachtree Pine with no introduction and with no appointment.  She admitted she was sent by the Innovation Team. ( I’ll refer hereafter to this group as the $3.3 Team.)  This visiting priest saw women and children languishing all over the place at Peachtree Pine.  I wonder if this priest knows Rector Hoare of the Varsity Grill Episcopal Church?   

 

Nine days ago a pregnant woman was put out of Emory barely able to walk onto hallowed Peachtree Street. Perhaps she and her baby qualify for a few pieces of that shameful  Bloomberg money.  Mayor Bloomberg’s own words leave him standing there indicted with his fruit of the looms gathered about his fat ankles.  This woman was helped by two kind security people at Emory Hospital who drove her the three blocks back to Peachtree Pine.  I pray that those two Good Samaritans will not lose their jobs at Emory.  Another Good Samaritan, a former resident at The Pine who volunteers regularly placed this pregnant woman and her other children with a kind family from one of the churches along the Peachtree Street corridor.  On Tuesday, September 3, a week passed since she was dismissed from Emory to the streets.  Note the cruel irony in the name of this office of circumlocution, The $3.3M Delivery Team .

 

Note please this is not Bangladesh or New Delhi or Columbia, S. C.  It’s Atlanta, the City too busy to hate, the home of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, Inc.  Oh, how we do improve!  Homeless women and children sleeping under bridges and eating out of trash cans.  Joe Beasley has said it before and just might say again, “It’s time somebody went to jail.”  What do Shirley Franklin and Renee ($414K) Glover allow concerning this atrocity committed against homeless women and their children crisis?

People Are Hurting

 

The Metro Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless, Inc. this a.m. delivered a check to a motel south of Atlanta that purchased five nights of “housing” for a family of seven: a husband and wife and their five children,  ages 18 through 4. The Task Force also provided spending money and a full tank of gas.  All four school-age children are in school.  The father begins a job next week as a sales representative.  The father has been unemployed for six months and housing was lost five months ago.  The father in this family will come into Peachtree Pine to speak with one of our staff who daily addresses similar cases.

 The only way that the Task Force could provide financial help to this family is through the kind and generous donations of a few caring people.  ALL funding to the Task Force has been stopped through a decade old conspiracy whose mission is to disappear the Peachtree Pine Community from Peachtree Street.  The conspirators whom I call TEAM GOLIATH have failed to remove Little David from hallowed Peachtree.  Central Atlanta Progress, Atlanta Downtown Improvement District, Philanthropist Manny Fialkow, Emory Health Care, Inc. and Emory University have maneuvered themselves into prickly lawsuits that have some goliaths squirming in their towers.  The City of Atlanta, that moving violation from its pate down to its shoes, slithered out of being sued with its buddy system called a federal judge. The City of Atlanta having to face Little David in a lawsuit like this one could never happen.  Sovereign immunity is a given.  Henry VIII could not be tried for murdering two of his wives; he’s the king.  Walter Brueggemann says, “That’s what kings do.”  Atlanta United Way is another lily white conspirator that has slipped under the radar.  I’m not sure why as this team for righteousness, like the bogus Tri-J Continuum of Care, Inc., sits squarely in the middle of the conspiracy mix.

The Task Force for the Homeless, Inc. receives from the City of Atlanta, ZERO dollars.  The Task for the Homeless, Inc. receives from Atlanta United Way, ZERO dollars.  The Task Force for the Homeless, Inc. receives from Fulton County, ZERO dollars.  The Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless, Inc. receives from the Peachtree Corridor houses of worship, ZERO dollars.  The Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless, Inc. receives from the “unbiased” Tri-J, ZERO dollars. The Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless, Inc. receives from the Nun-Run Mercy Housing, Inc., ZERO dollars. This was not always the case.  Many of these entities previously funded the Task Force. But after Richard Orr of CAP and Homeless Czar Debi Starnes and Homeless Commissioner Chair Horace Sibley did their nefarious work, all funding stopped.

So far, as of this date, August 9, 2013, Anita Beaty, Executive Director of the Task Force has been deposed three days and a total of eleven hours by attorneys representing the defendants.  Remember the defendants are on trial.  They are accused of racketeering and tortious interference.  The Task Force is not on trial.  The conspirators’ attorneys’ questions attempt always to show that the Task Force is poorly organized, poorly run, doesn’t pay its debts and warehouses its victims.  Their questions follow the line taken by Episcopal CEO, Rector Hoare who said from his Varsity Grill pulpit that Peachtree Pine is a squalor.

 After hours of questioning at the Baker Donalson Law Firm, everyone took a break.  In that break time Anita Beaty received a call from a family of five, homeless, carless. penniless.  After her five hours of being deposed by lawyers representing the TEAM GOLIATH conspiracy, the Task Force executive director delivered a Task Force check enabling that family to stay five days in a motel.  How noble it would have been for lawyers representing conspirator CAP, conspirator ADID and conspirator Philanthropist Manny Fialkow to throw in 30 pieces of silver for a homeless family.

 

I’m studying the life of William Stringfellow who stood ready as a brilliant attorney to help destitute people in Harlem.  He did that every day.  In my search to find why would he do such a thing, giving his life for the poor.   I have found the answer.  HEART!!!  Bill Stringfellow was heart, all heart1  He couldn’t say, “No.”  The Task Force has no funds to help families such as the two I have mentioned.  The principalities and powers responsible for helping them won’t help them and are damned and determined that the likes of Anita Beaty will not help them.  Should your HEART move you to send financial support we’ll continue to help whomever we can.  Should you send enough for a tank of gas, it could enable someone to search for a job.  Thank you
